After trying different combinations, I've decided that we will play a Greg Bacon medley, but I haven't selected the other tunes yet. I don't think a whole set of jigs will work for our purposes. I wrote a drum beating for "Indigo" early last fall, and we have been playing the tune pretty much every week all winter, trying to find the right groove. It's a marvelous tune and I hope that by the Mariner muster this July the Connecticut Valley Field Music will be able to play a whole Greg Bacon set to help you celebrate.
