I can’t put my finger on exactly why, but I like everything about this song. The tune itself, the choice of instruments, the end. The name too, I guess.

I love this tune. I had almost forgotten about that night! As a mom of three today….. my feelings have SURELY changed on the “Wretch- herself!” Whoops!

I can almost hear her in the tune now….over stressed, scattered, anger… today- my response to her would be so much more compassionate. So—”Sorry mean Wretch Momma lady!!”

I’ve pulled your transcription into Reason and there are a few differences between it and the performance…maybe you can help me understand the subtle nuances of it’s performance.

But it’s a lot of fun to work with. I wish you had managed to record the “Space Humming”.

For one, I was not playing the fourth measure as triplets. Second, I was playing the high G#’s as G naturals in the B part. The triplet change was to smooth it out a bit. The G# change was because I forgot that I wrote it as G#’s. I guess I should look at my own music before recording it.
